A wheat and rye gingerbread in the shape of a Christmas tree, baked to the historical recipe of Robert Gerlich and Max Prause, former owners of the Warthaer Pfefferkuchen Honigkuchenfabrik. The gingerbread factory operated from 1860 in the townhouse at Market Square 4 (Rynek 4) in Bardo. We hand-glaze the spiced dough with mint icing and top it with dried fruit and nuts: figs, prunes, apricots, cranberries, almonds, walnuts and hazelnuts. Every tree is handmade in our workshop, so no two are exactly alike. Perfect for the Christmas table, as a winter decoration or as a sweet gift from Bardo.
